Kids Lunch Box Paneer Coin Paratha Recipe | Easy Paneer Stuffed Mini Parathas

Hello Friends,

Today, I am excited to share a delicious and kid-friendly Paneer Stuffed Coin Paratha Recipe. These mini parathas are soft, flavorful, and packed with a nutritious paneer filling. They make a perfect breakfast, lunch box snack, or evening tiffin for both kids and adults.

Paneer Stuffed Coin Paratha is a fun, bite-sized variation of the classic paneer paratha. Instead of making large parathas, the dough is stuffed with a mildly spiced paneer mixture, rolled, and cut into small coin-shaped rounds. These mini parathas are easy for little hands to hold and are always a hit in school lunch boxes.

How to Make Paneer Stuffed Coin Paratha (Step-by-Step)

Step 1: Prepare the Dough

In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, salt, and oil. Add water gradually and knead into a soft, pliable dough. Cover and allow the dough to rest for 15–20 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare the Paneer Filling

Crumble or grate fresh paneer into a bowl. Add coriander leaves, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well until the spices are evenly distributed.

Step 3: Roll and Stuff the Dough

Roll the rested dough into a thin sheet. Place small portions of the paneer filling at regular intervals on the sheet. Carefully roll the dough into a log shape and seal the edges completely.

Step 4: Cut into Coin Shapes

Using a sharp knife, cut the stuffed dough log into small coin-sized pieces. Gently press the edges to ensure the filling remains sealed inside.

Step 5: Cook the Coin Parathas

Heat a tawa or griddle over medium heat. Place the coin parathas on the hot tawa and cook both sides evenly. Apply a little ghee or oil and cook until golden brown spots appear on both sides.

Step 6: Serve Hot

Remove from the tawa and serve hot. These paneer stuffed coin parathas pair beautifully with curd, pickle, tomato ketchup, or mint chutney.
